I know there is no arrivals lounge at LAX. However, I’m wondering whether it would be possible to access the Qantas First lounge after re-clearing security with a separate ticket on AA or Alaska.

My travel plans are fluid at the moment, so I might be overnighting in LA. In that event, can anyone see why I couldn’t access the lounge with a fully refundable ticket for (much) later the same day and then cancel it?
