I hear you. I would assume, though, there a quite a few customers whose flight patterns primarily comprise trips within the DACH region. One has to fly a lot of short-haul even in J to make at least SEN which is the status where relevant benefits start to kick in. Thus, any QP contribution from long-haul helps and - in combination with probably very convenient flight times - will entice such customers to (grudgingly) accept LHG value-for-money standards. Its large captive client base is of immense value for LHG.
