Lounge and non-lounge sleeping options in DOH
My wife and I will fly SFO-DOH(J)-PER(F) in March, with a layover in DOH from 17:15 to 02:45. FWIW, we'll be overnighting Wed-Thurs. A few questions:
1. How many bedrooms are there in the Al Safwa Lounge?
2. What are the chances of securing one during that time? (I realize there's a 6-hour limit.)
3. The site for the Al Mourjan Business Class Lounge - the Garden says that there are 24 "private rooms" there. If we can't score a bedroom in the AS Lounge, is trying for one of those private rooms our best backup?
4. Is a private room truly private in terms of being an enclosed space, or is it more an open space with walls dividing it from neighboring private rooms.
5. If neither lounge option is available, is our best fallback the Sleep 'N Fly pods?
6. If so, are we better off with the South or North Node pods location?
7. Are the pods liikely to be sold out at that time?
Thanks for any advice.
