I have an upcoming spa bill that will be several thousand dollars at a Marriott property.
anyone know how points are awarded on this when not staying at the property?
I’ve read conflicting reports with some saying no points, some saying 5 pts/dollar, and some saying 10pts/dollar.

Anyone have any insight on how to earn points on this? The spa seemed to think it would earn points but didn’t really know.

previously I was awarded 10pts/dollar instantly as long as the card that paid was on my Marriott profile.

also any specific card I should use for this? I was thinking about using sapphire reserve over the Marriott card
