GH is much better to the central KL attractions (KLCC, Pavilion and the MRT by the connected bridge), but tbh the Centric is not bad if you don't mind the heat. It's just a short few minutes' walk to the MRT station and to KLCC, as well as Jalan Alor. For everything else, you'd probably be using Grab anyway, so it wouldn't make that big of a difference anyway.
For a difference of 10.5k (don't forget there's a 500 points new hotels bonus offer for this location!) a night, I'd definitely stay here if you don't need a suite upgrade and don't care for a lounge.
