Stayed at this hotel recently and in general liked it. The free shuttle to Novena is nice and the hotel was pretty modern. The bath could be bigger but since (at least for me) the Aloft was one of the cheapest Marriotts in SG, I can definitely recommend it.

The only thing, I skipped on my second stay was breakfast. The whole atmosphere was just brutal and uncomfortable. People running around like crazy, desks not being respected if you didn't occupy them and a super stressful display of food where basically people were just pushing each other.. maybe it's better in the early morning but during vacation, I rather take the points and have a late breakfast / early lunch somewhere outside..
