Thanks for the clarification. I have lounge passes for my guests to use the lounge at DOH so that's not a problem.

The problem for me is actually at CDG - when I asked QR's agent through WhatsApp whether I could use CDG's Premium Lounge as Gold (and asked whether I could use my guest lounge passes to let them in), I was told it would be possible but reading further now it seems that guest passes are only usable at DOH?

I assumed guest lounge passes would be usable in all QR's lounges but that might not be the case (unless other people have used it in outstation lounges successfully such as LHR's frequent flyer lounge). The only alternative lounge option at CDG T1 would be the Extime lounge since other T1 lounges are for other alliances / airlines.
