Did you go when there was a convention or concert on property ? This is their dedicated events hotel for Galaxy.
I booked two rooms, as globalist, first room used SUA at booking and confirmed for Andaz suite, second room used GOH, also confirmed for Andaz suite at checkin, I was actually hoping they would put that second room in lower category so I can see different room types, but front desk said it had already allocated to Andaz suite prior.

My fruit platter and sweets was already in my room, once again if it took that long, it must have some events going on in property.

What was on offer were nuts from a jar, fruit water, and some ice tea. The alcohol served — all I saw was an empty ice bucket (I posted the video on Google Map reviews). I had to ask for a beer which the staff had hidden in the cupboard. Once other people saw I got handed a beer, it was a mad rush.
All drinks were out but not hidden, as you said, it was a mad rush, perhaps they didn't refill fast enough ?

If you have the option to stay at the JW Marriott next door, stay there, or better yet at Grand Hyatt or St. Regis. This hotel squeezed in between convention centers somehow forgot it’s a luxury hotel.
The value of staying here over grand Hyatt is it is much cheaper and the rooms are much newer, the tub is much bigger and longer as well unlike at grand hyatt, their tubs are small and narrow, the only thing grand Hyatt wins over Andaz is their grand club. FYI, breakfast is not free for everybody and is not being served at Andaz lounge, I don't understand why or how you would use Andaz lounge experience to compare.
You seemed really harsh and negative about this property especially since you are a new poster, you just made this post here and leave without other reviews, I don't even know if your complaints are legimate or not, as none of us here had seen the same as you described
