Lauda Seating Question

I have just booked a SYD-KUL-SYD trip in Y class for travel in a few weeks time, mainly because Lauda (OS) was the cheapest *A fare available on this route.

I am planning to choose an aisle seat on the B777, and my question is whether it would be better to go for one of the rows with only 2 seats down the back (but 4 in the middle) or go for an aisle seat nearer the front with the 3+3+3 configuration.

Any advice, particularly from anyone who has experienced these seats, would be appreciated.

By the way, I am a *G member (UA 1K, MM) and so far I feel as if I have been treated like a speck of dirt by the Lauda reservations staff I have dealt with in Sydney. *G obviously doesn't mean much to Lauda staff it would seem, which doesn't seem to bode well for the trip at all.
