JFYI- The SkyTeam fare that is posted (ex-YYZ) is essentially VS doing some similar "favorable" things to YQ calculation when you do a single or double OJ starting in YYZ and ending in eastern US. If you are a frequent flier free radical and just care about sub $1500 business class tickets, that one is worth playing around with. It looks like you need to get VS codes and fares in both directions to get the best pricing. If you do some simple RTs ex-YYC you can see what is probably the normal calculation.
