Have completely stopped flying west jet except for trying to spend the $1,100 I have in a travel bank that expires in mid July: the whole company with this “transformation” is a complete scam….
unless you buy and sit in row 20+ basic economy which has some fairly inexpensive flights where you DO in fact get what you pay for, the fact they openly charge what they do for a “premium” product and there’s a significant probability you won’t get it and the compensation you get offered is rubbish ….is deceptive

the reason I have a travel bank is I made such a fuss over 2 not cheap return tickets to PUJ last year that were switched out to Y with ZERO in return or compensation due to an aircraft switch they refunded it all to a travel bank which I’ve been using for quick flights to Halifax to see family
Status is now rubbish with them. No lounge no food just utter rubbish
They should Just accept what they are : a cheap budget economy airline And they all fail eventually in Canada as we don’t have the market
Id rather spend double on AC and get what is expected
it’s easy to get elite status and the benefits with AC
