To be honest the primary source of cancellation at FLR is weather (notably fog many many mornings) due to the airport's poor location. I suspect that 320Neos would probably have a slightly longer turnaround time so in effect, it might not result in more crowding in the terminal, but it could make a number of gates too small. On the plus side, there are many destination airports where the E90s are relegated to bus gates, hopefully, with 320Neos, it might actually mean higher contact gate priority and thus a smoother experience at outstations
As alluded to above, I don't think that's what would happen. They want to increase the number of passengers but cannot increase the number of movements so the only way to achieve that is the same frequency of flights but on larger aircraft. I think it's unlikely that they would reduce the number of flights unless there was a risk of breaching the new cap.
