Can anyone recommend an ideal Hyatt property where we can enjoy their pool, with proximity to beach, and if possible nearby day/night market if we wanted to do a quick exploration?
Staying for 5 nights, am Explorist, and have a few Cat 1-4 free nights and Club Access awards to use, if that is possible.
Thanks for the guidance!
March is at the end of rainy season so there will be rains. Also, you should take note of
Nyepi and plan accordingly (IMHO, avoid it).
HR are Andaz next door to each other, on the boardwalk in Sanur, with vibrant local scenes. As I remember, there's a market not far away as well as a museum. The beach is not the best but it's calm and suitable for kids. The pools are marvelous.
Alila Seminyak has a mature party vibe, in a very touristic neighborhood. The pools are chic, sunset view is gorgeous, but the waves are rough and more suitable for surfing than swimming.
Alila Manggis is remote and there's not much things to do in the immediate surroundings.
Grab is good for Sanur, Kuta-Seminyak-Canggu, or if you want to go south to Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu. But if you want to go north to Ubud and other regencies, I suggest getting a day driver as local communities are very protective of their taxi services. Grab drivers can drop you off there but not pick you up.
Also, Ubud deserves much more than a day trip.
