What I believe from this place to be the sweet and sour chicken, back from Stockholm tonight. No menus; was described as ‘chilli chicken and rice’, and veg choice was ‘pasta… which is probably cheese and tomato, because it normally is.’ Quite liked it; had some heat to it, but either in the original or secondary cooking a few grains had been under/over-cooked so occasionally was like biting into bits of eggshell.

And as the above hints at, an incredibly odd service. The crew seemed experienced but attitude was bit ‘okay, fine’. Drinks round hand run from the galley. Then the meal plates were too, but with zero offer or mention of second drinks. Only people who asked seemed to get anything else, and again it was slightly like we were putting them out. Strangely it got a bit more proactive later in the flight, with walk-throughs and drinks offers.

Just found it weird they took an approach which puts more work on themselves, but which also didn’t really meet what I understand the service standard to be. I mean if the goal is to slack, don’t make it harder for yourselves. But maybe I just misjudged the experience levels.
