I’m about 99% sure a chap just got on my flight and complained that he was unable to book 1C (next to me), because it showed online as ‘blocked’.

I heard ‘bloody disgrace’ and alas not what the crew said to him, but he didn’t glare at me so I’m assuming they didn’t dob me in.

I will miss the consequences of daft but amusing quirks like this!
