AA hasn't really changed much on the LP system in years. For all the hate AA gets (and deserves) for playing darts with their strategy, the LP program is actually pretty straightforward and consistent.

As for SWUs, it’s a choice. She can choose to get SWUs, or she can pick something else if that works better for her. I think that is an improvement for some and I don’t know that it is a bad change for others.
The other change is that status and SWU milestones was decoupled with the new program. But that hasn't changed in years and the tracker is very clear about it.
