They just wrote that the opening is delayed and that they need to postpone my stay. This should be interesting as it involves a host of non refundable flights that you can't very well postpone.
Anytime I book a trip to a new/opening hotel, I am sure to purchase travel insurance. Hopefully you did, but if not at least consider it if rebooking for a revised date at the new hotel.
