Question about changing to an earlier JAL domestic flight on same day.

I'm arriving in HND from LHR via BA, then same day on a separate ticket connecting to JAL domestic HND to CTS on an Economy 'Special Saver' fare. I notice there are plenty of daily flights to CTS, and my question is, do JAL domestic allow for free change to an earlier flight if there is availability?
