I have had a few BA hotel bookings where the boilerplate text on the confirmation warned about extra fees even though they were never charged (or were ever going to be). So I assume all BA bookings come with a standard cop out like this rather than an accurate specificatiopn of the total costs (as you get with other TAs). It feels like it may be a carry over from the Expedia engine.
