I was due to fly home on the lunchtime flight on 20 January. Our inbound diverted to Faro. We were offered TAP to LIS Monday night and another TAP to LGW on the Tuesday. There was nothing leaving FNC that would get us home any earlier. We changed the LIS-LGW flight to a BA LIS-LHR flight.

I wouldn't say every flight operated after lunchtime. TAP cancelled a lot, as did other operators. I don't think operations really started to recover until early evening.
