KCM will be replaced by Crewmember Access Point or CMAP

Crewmember Access Point (CMAP)

What is Crewmember Access Point?

In simple terms, Crewmember Access Point (CMAP) is a TSA regulated program that will replace the Known Crewmember® (KCM®) Program.

When will KCM® transition to CMAP?

The transition to CMAP is expected to occur in late November 2025.

What should I expect?

NATA CS is actively working with TSA to ensure a smooth and streamlined transition from KCM® to CMAP within its safety and security platform. Our team is proactively updating our training, compliance and data management systems to meet CMAP requirements, ensuring you can participate in both KCM® and CMAP programs effortlessly until the transition to the CMAP; there is no need for you to complete a new enrollment.
Crew members will be required to complete a fingerprint check before accessing a special security lane and there will be more random screenings than with KCM (The Known Crewmember program).
