I grew up flying TPAC R/Ts annually, routing through NRT bound for HKG during the Kai Tak days. I have fond memories of getting cup of noodles as catered snacks in Y. Nowadays, I try to "avoid" instant noodles in day to day life (e.g. they aren't in my kitchen!), but I'll crumble when I'm in airports..

On a side note, I have noticed that the HNL UC doesn't offer cup of noodles any more though - maybe since last July '24. I would add the Kalua Pork and other available loose veggies to make it more interesting..
