As someone who has spent a lot of time in Poland I've found that while you might find some properties outside Warsaw with great hard products the service culture isn't quite there (yet). Additionally many locales suffer from a lack of surrounding attractions that make them worth the while. If we would use the list above as examples Szklarska Poręba is in Poland considered a popular ski resort, while internationally with its rather meager 5 lifts it wouldn't even be considered.
I have definitely seen steady improvements in the country and honestly believe Poland will be a European powerhouse in many contexts in 15-20 years, including when it comes to luxury accommodation. Right now however it's not quite there. The Raffles in Warsaw is edging towards it, nearby Hotel Bristol shows promise and Verte certainly has the hard product for it. Other than that however I sadly don't have much to add for this forum with regard to Poland.
