Extensive discussion of both questions in many of the posts above. Breakfast has not significantly changed in the past 3-4 ski seasons.
Although this year, one day of my recent stay during which I never saw more than 3 or 4 people at breakfast, the breakfast hot food area was empty and there were “menus” at each table. Once requested, food arrived in 3-5 minutes, I believe one could order as much as they desired. First time I've ever experienced that at any of my hundreds of Hyatt Place stays.
Photos below: new fence/gate around bar area, breakfast food service area, “menu”, fruits at breakfast, berry compote (just looking at that photo has me losing my appetite

). (Breakfast area and "menu" photos taken on different days.)

Detailed discussion of public bus stops and routes (with annotated map images) in post #36 above, hasn’t changed, additional discussion follows. The 101 (supposedly) runs every 20 minutes, it’s the only bus that stops near the hotel. As above, going TO Main Street it stops right in front of the hotel on the same side of the busy 4 lane state road.
FROM Main Street it stops (upon request) on the other side of the street at intersections 0.2 miles
before or 0.2 miles
after the hotel. There are sidewalks on both sides but if there’s a lot of snow (accumulated) the sidewalks from the intersection prior to the hotel (to the hotel) are not cleared (of snow) and walking IN the road (or though the snow) is required. I’ve never done it (always wanted to get off the bus ASAP due to crowd and standing in ski gear with other’s skis dripping melted snow on me) but last week I was told by hotel Assistant GM that some people get off the bus at the intersection
after the hotel specifically because that area of sidewalk is (supposedly) cleared of snow.
