I have an offer from LH To upgrade FRA-EDI for around EUR 67. I am *G so don’t actually need this.
I am familiar with the short-haul biz product having accepted a similar upgrade offer BER-FRA last year (out of curiosity). I was pleased to note that this was re-booked into P class with improved mileage earning into AirNZ.
My questions are:
1. How such an upgrade is processed when it is a part of a larger Singapore Airlines ticketed journey?? (SIN-FRA on SQ connecting FRA-EDI on LH).
2. Am I correct to assume that the e-tix cannot be touched by LH, so in this case of a SQ-issued e-tix this is only a cabin upgrade and the mileage earning will remain at the economy rate per the current booking?
