As long as you can bring the cup of noodles through airport security (or buy it in the airport after security), I'm sure that you can bring it aboard a UA flight.

As UA lists hot tea (with a choice of tea bags) on its hot beverages menu, you can just ask a flight attendant for a cup of hot water and a teaspoon.
