If I get it right: if the segment is operated as a wetlease under Lufthansa Group, it will always give out qualifying points.


That also seems to follow by this sentence, which shows up in different expert papers from Lufthansa when I now did a search:

"LHG flight in this policy is defined as: OS, SN, EW, LH, LX, EN, 4Y flight number and operated
by OS, SN, EW, LH, LX, EN, WK, 4Y, VL or their wetlease partners"



A follow-up question: If booking economy by LHG homepages, will they ever use an operator for a segment which do not qualify for either points or for qualifying points?
