I can imagine AZ as well as all LH group airlines will gradually offer the option of earning points (miles) either in Volare programme or M&M, this is common during transition period. More will be known the first week in February, as already mentioned in press release. Then at the end of this 2025 the points/miles earned until then, will be transferred to M&M, and Volare programme will definitely be ebolished within one year, hopefully AZ is by then fully integrated M&M member. M&M has the obligation (court rulling) that all changes have to be announced one year ahead. The recent SAS swap from *A to ST took almost 2 years to be completed. But in today's airline world everything can change quickly. It is yet to be seen what the future months will bring.
