One option which is a lot easier these days are the Indian and Pakistani restaurants around Hayes and Harlington station on the Elizabeth line, but now that Mo doesn't work in CCR it's difficult to give recommendations.
I've used the Harlington Tandoori which is walkable from Harlington Corner (buses also stop close by). Nearby is a Fullers pub, The White Hart, where the food and beer is decent.
More recently I've eaten at Curry Delight a couple of minutes walk from the station - excellent value and very attentive service.
