Stayed for 12 days over Christmas. Was going to write a fairly positive review other than the dated rooms - but the hotel closed within 48 hours of me returning. I can find no details on why and there were no signs of it at the hotel over Christmas period with fairly good occupancy. The hotel has completely vanished from Hilton's portfolio, the stay has vanished in my history and it is showing as 'permanently closed' on Google with all their social media profiles removed.

There was an article about a Moxy opening in summer '25 as a conversion of another hotel in Al Barsha area - so perhaps this one, but not confirmed.

I would say the rooms were absolutely in need of refurbishment, but found the staff to all be top notch - some of the best staff I've ever had at a DoubleTree and the breakfast team were fantastic and looked after us extremely well and hope they all find suitable new work.
