Another datapoint on this,

I still had my platinum upgrade coupon on my account and I would most likely lose it so I called 2 days ago and had the team waitlist my friend for an inbound from Vegas.

Just got the email to confirm it and seat on her behalf.

I acknowledge based on other posts and threads I’ve been more than lucky to be able to use and clear all 5 coupons. 2 each way on one trip and then another for this Vegas trip where there were only 8 seats left 2 months out.

I would encourage anyone who has them left and doesn’t think they’d use them to perhaps offer to waitlist friends even? Seems better than outright losing them…
