Booked DXB-JED one way in Y for 20K miles.

1. Impossible to select seat online on SV website (gives error message, tried different browsers and app). Had to call Saudia.

2. Denied lounge access in DXB as Delta Gold. Sky team lounge: denied because SV uses separate lounge and SkyTeam in DXB does not accept SV passengers. SV lounge: denied because SkyTeam elites need to use SkyTeam lounge

3. Had to change ticket day before departure, impossible to “change” on DL, decided to cancel old ticket and booked a new one. Received confirmation from DL that my refund was being processed, but apparently they did not cancel on SV side, because I got multiple text messages from SV looking for me in DXB airport and then email about missing my flight. I assume DL will still give me miles back, because it was their fault not to cancel SV.

Have another flight coming up in J, again unable to select seats online… Hope at least I will get lounge access.
