I was on the exact same flight, and this was by far the worst first class Alaska Airlines flight I've had:
- No PDB
- Offered water (or some other drink) after takeoff and that's it, no other service
- FA forgot to serve us our preordered meals, and by the time I realized they've forgotten its too late for me to care, lets try to sleep
- Redeye flight, but FA kept the front-galley light on the entire time to do some coloring project, which she loudly told the other FA mid-flight is for her daughter who loves Avatar, waking us up during a redeye. The least you can do during a redeye is to be quiet and keep the light turned off, and they failed there.
- The seat next to us did get their meal after takeoff, but I noticed that the dirty plates weren't cleared till landing, 5 hours later
- At landing, the definitely didn't check if my seat was straight up / buckled (my seat was reclined and i wasn't buckled, and they had already finished their checks and gone in the jump seat).
Truly, I was like why did I even pay extra for first class, atleast in economy I would've been able to sleep without the front galley light blaring.
I literally never bother with Alaska Listens, but this one got a scathing review right at touchdown.
