Just a further update to this, rang the executive club who told me that as I filed the complaint >48 hours after the cancellation which is incorrect and the team who reviewed it refused to release anything as a result. I have written again to Sean Doyle, but I do not expect to hear back. This is incredibly frustrating as there are 8 seats on both flights available to purchase. Does anyone have anything else to suggest or am I effectively playing this by ear and praying?
