I have not stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn there, but based on my stays last year at the Hampton and Hilton at YUL (both one-nighters), I'd go with the Hampton if the price is about the same (the difference was about $5). My room (a small suite, actually) was much nicer, and the building felt better maintained.
