I stayed at this Conrad earlier in the month.
The hotel is clearly a repurposed apartment building, which you can see by the small lobby. You definitely don't have the "grand hotel entrance" that one would normally expect, and instead of being right open to a main road you need to drive in concentric circles around the block in order to access the entrance. Free valet parking; I'm not sure you can even self-park.
All the rooms are suites and look like the one-bed apartments they were probably originally designed to be, including kitchenette and combination washer-dryer (the kind that cooks your clothes like an oven). Done up to the high standard you'd expect of a Conrad.
Sushisamba is outrageously expensive, even by Bahrain standards.
Location isn't great... zero walkability unless you have meetings in a neighboring office building. You can reach the souk in about 15 minutes on foot (crossing the highway) if you really want. Getting in and out by car takes time because of the concentric circles--you'll see what I mean if you look up driving directions to/from anywhere.
Turndown service is on-request and they sometimes forget even after you ask.
