With some BOA biz credit card accounts, the annual fee is $50 or $35 for the overall account plus $35 or $50 for each card issued.
The issuers sorts it all out internally. During the month you might see the card number accumulating a balance while the billing/payment account number balance remains unchanged until statement date.
IME, sending ACH bill-pay payment to either of the 2 BOA biz account numbers results in the payment being properly credited. Ideally the number on the card itself should be used for all "charge" purposes and payment should be sent to the other number (which is printed on the payment stub of the monthly statement).
Thanks! It is really strange and this is the first I have this kind of problem. I have chase, Amex, citi business card and this never happens.
