I stayed at the JW Marriott Marina a few weeks ago (early Jan 2025) and I see the charge showing up on my Amex statement as “Address Dubai Marina”. Consequently I didn’t get bonus points on my Amex Marriott card. It’s a pretty silly problem - you’d think they’d have updated their merchant info with credit card processing systems since the rebranding but I guess not. I’ll try to work it out with Amex… wanted to share anyways as a warning to others.
