Tried clicking on the log in with a password instead & this prompts me to change my password which I do & it appears to succeed, but it then comes up with a technical error message. It seems that I'm not the only one. If you can see your status when you click on your account I'd leave it at that, as there doesn't appear to be a definitive solution to this. I certainly wish I'd left things alone.
Update: Fortunately, I was still logged in to the KLM App. As suggested in a post on another thread, I was able to resolve this by saving my email address again in my profile on the KLM App. This cleared the invalid email error however, on requesting the Pin Code via email, the error appeared again. I saved my email again in the KLM App, force closed the Air France App & then elected to go straight to the login via password. I changed the password and was then able to receive the Pin Code via email. I might add that the password change booted me out of the KLM App. I was expecting similar issues but the Pin Code was received first time of asking with no error messages.
Lessons learnt from this are 1) Always install & remain logged in on both AF/KLM apps. 2) If you're replacing your device, ensure that you're already logged in elsewhere at the time of setting up your new device.
