LHR-SFO:
Burrata starter felt quite substantial which feels a rarity on BA so I was happy with this. Possibly would have enjoyed some olive oil but it was nice either way.
Beef was a little tough but the potatoes were lovely and the gravy was nice too.
I wouldn’t call this bread and butter pudding. It was nice, but I’m used to old fashioned mum-made bread and butter pudding so that might be why.
Second meal starter of vegetables that were so cold it was unreal. I barely ate them.
The mash saved this dish. It was nice and really helped with the chicken. Not a bad dish overall.
The service was not great though. The crew member on my side made me feel really unwelcome and almost treated me like a child. Whenever she came to me she opened the suite door and locked it open; didn’t to anyone else. Snapped at me when asking for orders and when I went to get a bottle of water mid-flight was told to go and get my water glass rather than get a new one.
It was like I had an Eastern European nanny on board and left a slightly sour taste in my mouth. The other side had an excellent chap who was happy to help, spoke to customers, and had a laugh even high fiving at one point. Felt much more… BA over there.
