The JW Marriott Dongdaemun is a fine place until you are there sharing the (standard) room with somebody. The semi-open layout for the bathroom doesn't really offer the kind of privacy that I expect from a luxury hotel.

Josun Palace looks good until you start touching stuff. I stayed on opening night (my posts open the master thread here on FT) and I was really disappointed with the fit and finish. It's mainly a place to go if you just like to brag to Koreans. :-) It's in one of the more boring locations and there isn't even a dedicated elite lounge.

My Top 3 are the JW Gangnam and then 2 that you actually haven't stayed at yet! Le Meridien and RYSE are both really great for the more all-round stay, although the latter of those has no pool. All 3 of those have different vibes and are good for different kinds of stays.
