I fully accept and respect the fact that QR can do what it wants with the policies on entitlements for upgraded passengers, but I would just highlight that they are a very, very small minority (indeed quite possibly the only airline that I'm aware of) who consider upgrade with miles in advance as a "seat only" upgrade. Every other airline that I can currently recall in my head provides the basic ground service benefits of the higher class (check-in and lounge) as well as the seat.
