She then pointed me back to the T&Cs which I'm fairly confident changed in the January 9th update. I have had hotels honor prior T&Cs before when the change happened after booking (ignoring the fact that Hyatt has allowed this to happen for the last 4 years). It’s been 5 years since they’ve offered breakfast I don’t see any others marching to the same beat, so to speak.
Hundreds, if not thousands of Globalists have brought this up to their MHC’s and Hyatt in those 5 years. So I’m failing to see what you hope to accomplish. At best it would be the same 500 points everyone else got. I agree it did violate the rules, but as far as I can tell they haven’t offered a paid breakfast option, meaning no Breakfast is being served anyways, meaning they’re not specifically targeting Globalists, they’re saying no Breakfast for anyone.
Also, my understanding is your stay has to take place under the previous T&C not just your booking being made to make any difference.
