Another concern I had noticed was for the multiple elderly passengers who did not speak good English. There were several elderly Indian/Asian grandparents traveling and luckily several passengers assisted them with translation. There was only one person at the hotel we stayed at who was able to help with booking ground transportation but no actual Qatar staff came to the hotel. From the other passengers who spoke with the hotel staff there were 177 passengers staying there. 177 passengers and only one non Qatar airport staff to assist us and he only spoke French and English. The bus driver even called it a .... show. The only positive thing out of this was the demonstration of strangers willingness to help out others.
