But if you have one of those obviously oversized American rollaboards, you might be asked to make it fit in the metal sizer. And when it doesn't fit you'll have to pay to check it into the hold.

There are always risks with European LCCs. Sometimes the staff don't care. Other times they appear incentivised to screw passengers wherever possible.
