Not sure where this goes and this is merely anecdata but for the second time in about a week, I got a Skip the Waitlist offer - this time it was DEN-LHR on the nonstop near the end of March. I took the last one but I didn't take this one(may need the plus points for one other trip). $1470 RT in Premium Plus and put PlusPoints on both ways.

The Skip Waitlist I did take last week was DEN MUC nonstop in the middle of September.
