Need to be by Brigade Gateway in BLR, so looking to stay at the Sheraton Grande Bangalore. Very convenient for us (close to family....).

We've been to the area before, including the hotel (we've had breakfast there, and wife has done a spa treatment)...but never stayed. How is it? I'm a lowly gold (and via Amex...at that, so not too worried about benefits.

One thing is we've got two kids....9 and 6, and in order to book a single room, we had to limit to one child....as this hotel (and honestly...seems all the Marriott's, and most other big ones) limit to 3 guests? Curious as to why this is. Room seems to be completely adequate size (420 square feet), and allows a roller. I used to do this sometimes when kids were little...figure it's not a big deal with an infant or even toddler, but seems weird to have a room that size and 2 queens limited to 3.

As for the last post about Leela....we're actually planning on the Leela Palace in Chennai as a splurge, as we'll be there for a couple of days prior to Bengaluru. So obviously, Sheraton will be...umm...a bit different.
