As far as I can tell, the alerts don't work. I set up an alert on a route and date showing availability across MANY carriers and programs for Economy, PE, Business (showing both on AwardTools manual search AND on individual award programs), to test the alert. I left the search wide open to any mileage program and card program. It has been a full 24 hours and still no alert. I played with the mixed cabin percentage, but there is no explanation of whether it is a min or max percentage and no option to turn that feature off.
Has anyone had success with alerts?
So far, I would definitely avoid paying for this service like I did.
