Cathay Pacific originally intended to install new Halo First class Suites and the new Aria Business class Suites on the 777-300ER aircraft from 2020, 13 of them will have new first class suites and the other 26 of them will have no first class suites. The Aria Suites is also intended to install on 13 of the A330 aircrafts replacing all the 33Es from 2020. Cathay Pacific cancelled the 777-300ER Halo Suite retrofit, the A330 Aria Suite retrofit and the 777-300 non-ER lie-flat business class seat retrofits and They also delayed the 777-300ER Aria Suite retrofit until further notice in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic.
