In any event, I'm often confused by Argentine Spanish. My Spanish is bad to begin with, but I have a very hard time understanding most of what's said to me here. I do much better with things in writing, And I rely on Google translate.
I struggled to understand some things too. My Spanish is generously described as upper intermediate but has been mainly learned and used in Spain. I found the different pronunciations in Argentina and Uruguay quite difficult.
